Na Na Na Na Na…

When I’m weak,
When I fall,
When I’m nothing at all
When I’m down
When I’m out
Call me happy.

CHORUS
Selamat hari natal
Dan tahun baru
Pada mus luruh teman teman ku
Jangan engkau fikikan

Dengarlah laguku

WHEEEEEEE...
KUCHING SONGS by lyricists, Nic and Marianne! Lovely created songs. =)

Jesus loves the little children (tune)
Jesus loves all the Kuchingers
All the Kuchingers here today
Adult, youth, newbie or old
Like the décor, you are gold
Jesus loves all the Kuchingers here today.

We 3 Kings (tune)
We 3 days of Mt. Singai are
700 steps up afar
Rocks n Rain, Body pain
On a clear night, many stars

O mountain journey, mountain stay
Mountain bugs which won’t go away
Crazy flies all in my rice
Toilets filled with much algae

Lemon Tree (tune)
I’m drinking milo, playing dai-dee
I shout shout shout until need herbal tea
But all that I can see
Is that I think I’m losing sleep

I wonder how, I wonder why
As the days seem to go flying by
‘Cause all that I can see
All mosquitoes just love me

Gloria (tune)
Children’s parties are so loud
Very small but noisy crowd
A balloon for every one
Still they cry in unison
(MO-RE balloons! In great exclamation) x2

Caroling is twice the hype
Teenagers of every type
Still no have that common word
Shout it out let it be heard
(MO-RE heya! In great exclamation) x2

Country Road (tune)
Almost heaven, East Malaysia
Singai Mountain, Kampong Sira River
Life is old there
Older than Celine
Younger than the Michael
Foreign like a sneeze

Kuching Road, take me home
To the place, I belong
East Malaysia, Singapura
Take me home, Kuching Road

Hotel California (tune)
On the dark there’s a highway, cool wind in my hair
Bad smell of the manure, rising up through the air
Up ahead in the distance, where we had to alight
Our head was heavy and our bags were too
So we stopped for some nights

Xavier went to the doorway, and he opened the gate
We were all telling stupid jokes
Sarah offered a date.

So they gave us our blankets, and they showed us our beds.
Victor asked what this place was,
So we just said.

Welcome to the motel Santa Lucas,
Such a lovely place, with so much space
Plenty of loos at the motel Santa Lucas
The hot water’s fine, There’s great laundry lines.

So when you get out of this motel Santa Lucas
In the yellow bus, when you think of us.
Living it up at the motel Santa Lucas,
At this time of year,
Think of all the cheer.

We Wish You (tune)
(We wish you a happy Kuching) x3
And lots of good cheer
We hope you had fun, with us and your friends
We hope you had great fun @ Kuching this year.

KUCHING WAS AWESOME!

PS:
I miss all the SMOTA KUCHINGers! Although we met up at George's place on Friday night; and VICTORia's house + mass on Saturday, I STILL MISS ALL OF YOU!

Waking up every morning and it's like, WHERE'S EVERYBODY?! Breakfast, lunch, dinner & teabreaks, like where's everybody who are around me 24/7 for 9 days?
I miss Kuching very very badly! I miss it more this year as compared to last year. Time really really flies!! :(

Kuching, mountain, coffee, tea & milo! The people, food, air & lodgings (Santa Lucas). Oh man! Can I migrate there? :(
What I miss most is still all the SMOTA KUCHINGers! Everyone's all in their own homes, place & world; and we can only meet up once in a bit now, not like in Kuching where we see each other everyday. Sigh!

Kuching songs by lyricists Nic and Mari was so awesome & touching. It really made Kuching 2007 a very memorable one. I like the 'We 3 Kings', 'Lemon Tree', 'Country Road', 'Gloria', 'Hotel California' and 'We Wish You'! I like all of it!!!
Love Love Love!! =D

I'm looking forward to a better Kuching next year. :)

Loves,
Jo

Time for updates!

Yesterday I was at the ice rink emceeing for Skate Asia Winter Classic at Fuji Ice. It was totally refreshing to see those young ones having grown up so much into a teenager. Especially Yi Ching, Claire Casey, Jasmine Mchaffey, Anja and a few others, they have grown up so much. I feel so old now. Gosh~
Oh! And I met Phan, my Thai skating friend. Oh man he has lost so much weight and has grown so much taller, moreover his hairstyle has changed too. When he saw me, I couldn't even recognise him at first sight. It took me 2 minutes to figure who he was. Oh man, I felt so bad. Another surprising thing is, he is a skating coach now. And he was a judge for the competition too. Hahaha.

I took a photo with him and Yi Ching before I left yesterday, because I know I won't get to see him till end of next year. Sigh~ Overseas friends are the worst to part with, seriously! Because you get to see them only like once a year. :(

So today was the Standard Chartered Singapore Marathon 2007. I was a baggage crew at the baggage tent at War Memorial Park. I was there at 3am sharp this morning. I swear we were so busy checking in bags in the morning from 4am onwards all the way till about 10am. Then from 10am onwards we were busy checking out the bags for some people were already done with the race and they came back to collect their bags.
The whole process was really tiring but overall a very fun and interesting experience. I had a free Adidas shirt by the way and I received $20 for volunteering. Apart from that, there was an additional official letter for a 20% discount at Adidas. Totally awesome! I swear!
And guess what, 5 crazy girls camwhored at 3+am in the morning. Hahahhaa.

I love them. They brought in a lot of fun during the whole process even though we were all busy and tired at the same time. WE HAD FUN! =D
